This is an excellent point and one I haven’t seen brought up. I really didn’t see any pressure on McCarthy all day and at the end of the game they took control.Honestly imimho ttun OL won that game yesterday

If a bunch of guys, Stroud especially, sit out the bowl game, well...it's going to be a long decade
But I fear it won’t. We all care about this game, obviously. And even when Cooper didn’t get it, the players did. Some of them went about it the wrong way (looking at you David Boston), but most of the time it is obvious that the game means way more to the players playing in it than it does to some fat middle-aged guys sitting in the stands. However, with some of the things I’ve been hearing (CJs comment and others), I am beginning to wonder if this is “just another game” to this group now. The way Cooper used to frustratingly point to Notre Dame and Penn State when people brought up Michigan. I don’t know, is it a lack of Ohio guys in prime positions? NIL? The playoffs? Complacency? No clue, I’m not smart enough to know. But what I do know is that one team played the last 2 games like they wanted it way more than the other did, and it showed. It's not about putting images, messages, and video content around the WHAC. It's not about pointing to the sky as if God does not also love players on the other side and you are somehow blessed above them. It's about wanting to win so bad that you are willing to do whatever it takes.
That should be the motto of the 2023 Buckeye football team...whatever it takes.
The wife was just watching an interview of CJ with Austin Ward after the game and Austin asked him how disappointed he was that his last game in the Shoe ended the way it did. He started by saying he didn't know if that was his last game in the Shoe then blah blah blah.I would actually like to see a bunch of guys, especially Stroud, sit out of the bowl game. They've shown what Ohio State means to them - we've seen it. It's just a step on the way to the NFL and there's nothing left that Ohio State needs from them, either. Au revoir.
Stroud has been nothing short of exemplary in representing this University unlike many on here.I would actually like to see a bunch of guys, especially Stroud, sit out of the bowl game. Yes he is. That makes him a great Sunday school teacher our a HS counselor. His job description as QB requires other traits. He’s moving on..Stroud has been nothing short of exemplary in representing this University unlike many on here.
Never a hint of trouble and always generous.

Not a criticism. He did his 3 years now he’s starting his career. He feels he did nothing wrong. OK good luck in NFL.Wow.
With fans like you, who needs enemies? Not a criticism. He did his 3 years now he’s starting his career. He feels he did nothing wrong. OK good luck in NFL.
If he said , “I’m the leader it falls on me.” I expected more out of myself.” And I wouldn’t have said a bad word. With fans like you, who needs enemies?
He's not really wrong though. C.J. IS without a doubt a great person and represents the University very well. I don't think anyone is questioning that.Wow.
