THE GAME: ttun @ tOSU, Sat Nov 26, 12pm, FOX

100% agree with this.

You people calling for Day to be fired are crazy. UM had 2 fucking decades of mediocrity after Llllloyd Carr...careful what you wish for you entitled brats.
He needs help. He needs somebody to balance him out.

I don't think firing him is the answer, but he needs somebody with him who can be an enforcer.

We aren't a pro team. We need to figure this out.

Michigan LB Mike Barrett on Ohio State: "You can feel when their will breaks. ... You can feel it go out of them."

That's the issue I have. When things get tough we say fuck it and take our ball and go home. Ryan Day has what 45 wins? I'd venture to guess that all of them are by double digits nearly?

So when it's not a blowout we just fold. Pretty awesome.

The fact that everyone on Michigan is so comfortable just saying that shit out loud shows how bad it really is. And when it’s that bad, I don’t think anything can fix that. Day is just not that guy.
Makes you think about all the things said last year and now... they weren't wrong were they?

We are soft, Ryan Day did inherent a team full of talent and you can tell when this program taps out in a game.

I thought Utah game fixed that and Notre Dame and Penn State seemed to confirm it. But this year it felt like last. When Stover got the TD knocked out of his hands the whole team seemed like that was it. And then they broke big runs cause why not fuck everything

Seems like a lot of times (and not just today) we were trying to run the ball when we didn't have to.
Weirdest part is I’ve heard both sides of it all year. On messages boards and in person at games…run it more! Pass it more!

Echos how confused this team was with an identity. Especially on the 8000 3rd and 2’s they had this year. Couldn’t pick it up left or right

I still would like a Rose Bowl beat down... I mean.. if you get beaten to a pulp, you still want a comfort snack

We had that last year, yet it did fuck all to make the team tougher for this year's game. As much as it kills me to say this, Simple Jim has his players buying into the whole 70s "The Team" bullshit while ours act like a bunch of NFL mercenaries ready to shrug a loss off and get to the next stage in their careers. That's the most sickening thing about today...tsun is living to win this game the way Ohio State used to live to win it.

I meant for me. A bowl win is for me. Does it help the team, no. I am just thinking of my mental health. There needs to be adversity to make you a great team. Otherwise you are just a team in a show trying to get ratings that everyone expects you to get. Usually a let down in the end.

It was a nice 19 years worth of owning them. Hairball needed all kinds of help from outside sources to figure out how to beat Ryan Day's OSU. (He finally did but probably again doesn't have a team that can compete with an elite playoff team. We will see - UGA has looked beatable this year... )

Hairball was not going to figure it out on his own and Day needs some assistance now, too. Once he figures it out (go back to building "SEC teams," as we referred to them during Urban's reign, in Columbus) and maintains the elite passing attack, we're back to dominating the conference and seriously contending for championships.

Does he have to be an asshole to build an "SEC team."

Who else is there to take over as HC - Fickell? Vrabel would smash, but he's not coming back for a while at least. I think we'll see more good coaching changes in the next few weeks and Day will figure it out.

Tbh I love how tsun is calling out our toughness..telling us we are who they thought we were..we soft yadda yadda yadda…and the players and coaches didn’t respond at all. That shows me that the rivalry isn’t really that important to this coaching staff and players..aye Cade u said u didn’t give af about the outside noise calling out the teams toughness…yea ok..Michigan has talked the talk and and backed the shit up..and we got guys talking bout final game in shoe blahh blahh man tf up.. idc bout u leaving early none of that. Play ball. Have pride..tackle.. shed blocks. Don’t drop passes etc. shits frustrating… go bucks!!
