THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

Tyliek is 300+ so he’ll be fine but IMO this isn’t the game for Mike Hall.

Personally my dream set up is this.

Sawyer-Hamilton-Hall-Williams-JT

Then the back 6 of the following

Eichenberg- Simon

Burke-Davison- Styles-Proctor

Now that’s a physical ass defense.

The thing is I don’t think we lose the ability to cover with this line up either. Give me our Corners against their skill all day and our safety duo can more than handle Loveland too.

We’ve got to do something vs their heavy look and I think Hall over the center would be gross for Michigan to cover. It’ll be important to limit their first down success because if they’re sitting 2nd and 6 every time that’ll be a pain
I think Hamilton is going to be extra important against the run for this game. I agree that this game isn't where Hall excels. Not saying I'm taking him off the field very often, but Hamilton needs to be getting ready for ttun without a doubt. Malone is another candidate.

I wouldn't take Hancock off the field almost at all barring injury...he is playing at a high level. But so is Davison, so that would be a tough call. However, against big fronts I could definitely see the group you mentioned. Especially at LB, Simon is built for this game. We've got the ponies at DB to hold their own in press coverage and put extra guys near the line. And by far the biggest concern has to be stopping Corum and Edwards.

"THAT'S A BET." While the Buckeyes are focused on Minnesota this week, others have the freedom to look ahead to Ohio State-Michigan on Nov. 25. That includes former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud and former Michigan quarterback Tom Brady, who made a tongue-in-cheek bet on Brady's "Let's Go!" podcast about the result of this year’s edition of The Game.

"If Ohio State wins... you get one of my Super Bowl rings. And if Michigan beats Ohio State, then you got to give me all your youth, your agility, your time in the 40 (yard dash) and all your future years in the NFL," Brady said. "How about that?"

"That's a bet," Stroud replied.

It's not a serious bet (at least I don't think), but Tampa Tom should perhaps rethink his offer of a Super Bowl ring. If Ohio State beats Michigan in two weeks — or should I say when Ohio State beats Michigan in two weeks — I expect Stroud to collect from the seven-time world champion, which means Stroud would need five Super Bowl wins to match Brady's jewelry collection instead of seven. What a deal for C.J.!

Why I won’t do DSA for this game

#1) DSA is extremely time consuming
#2) Without complications that go way beyond the interest level of anyone, me included, DSA cannot capture where this Ohio State team is at

I said early on that, unless the Buckeyes improve a lot more than was likely, they wouldn’t win 10 games this year, let alone play in the B1G ccg. Well, that was in September when I was only half paying attention to football and hadn’t been on BP in a long time, but I said it to my brother

Well… the development of this team has been remarkable, and their improvement has gone way beyond what I thought was probable. Their performance is therefore a bit of a moving target that a season-long averaging like DSA tends to miss. DSA by itself won’t tell you how good this team is, because IMHO the Buckeyes have improved more than anyone else, literally anyone else in the country.

Some of you might recall that Tiger Woods struggled for awhile in his prime because he changed his swing. He sacrificed half a season or more of results, but after he sorted it out he was better than ever. (Until his wife lost her mind, but that’s a different story)

Well, the Buckeyes changed their swing. They managed to stay undefeated anyway, and now they’re rounding into form at the right time.

I can hear some of you now

“What if TCUN can still cheat.” I know some of you are at least thinking it.

Did you see the videos of what they looked like when they were executing their cheating? To say they were being obvious about it is an understatement. It’s a miracle they weren’t caught sooner. Do you really think those same people can execute on the same cheating scheme surreptitiously? With everyone watching? And get away with it? …Please

I know Vegas still has TCUN as the favorite. And I’m going to stick to my principle of never betting.

But I’ve never been more confident of a Buckeye victory in The Game, and DSA has nothing to do with it

I’m getting there too and I totally agree with the development part.

I was worried about our insistence on running stretch and it’s no longer there, I was worried about McCord but it’s no longer there.

Bottom line is we are more talented than these guys. Sure they’re older… but we have more talent, we realize we were robbed twice, and this defense is the one to shut this all down.

Btw I’ll leave everyone with this.

Michigan vs Penn State- they only gave up 49 yards rushing, only gave up 12, failed at the 1 yard line, missed a field goal, and had 2 drives killed by penalties.

Nope WRONG.

That was Ohio state.

Michigan capitalized on every Penn State mistake, couldn’t throw the ball, and the score was exactly how the game went.

That OSU Penn State game should’ve been 35-6 had we played clean game. Michigan was lucky to have been in a 1 score game.

fuck them. We are winning the game and frankly I wouldn’t be shocked if this is 2021 Clemson level.

We are reaching that next level and they are fighting Twitter.

One thing all of this TCUN garbage does is put more pressure on Ryan Day. The cheating has been exposed, Harbaugh is suspended, and if his Buckeyes lose again the gloating from up north will be unbearable. Let's just say we down here won't be happy about it, and by "we" I'm including people with a lot more influence on OSU athletics than little old me.

While I agree totally, the flip side is there is a fairly high probability that tCun locker room and coaching staff will be in total chaos by that point. I'm hoping they lose tomorrow, and by the time THE GAME rolls around they are defeated before they ever take the field.

With the way things are going, much of the team may be in jail before they take the field. I don't know of any crimes, but I'm just extrapolating from the current trend.
