The Game, as we have all known it up to this point in our lives, is over. Yes, we will still play tsun and yes, it will still be called The Game, but this is the last time it will be the end of season-all or nothing pinnacle that we have all experienced. An expanded conference, no divisions and an expanded playoff mean rematches and as soon as there is a rematch, The Game isn’t the same as it was before.

The Game has been a much larger than rational or healthy part of my life for decades. As long as warm blood flows through my hate-ice encrusted heart I’ll wish nothing but evil on those arrogant cheating bastards. Until They Quit the Fucking Sport has been my mantra for a long time now.

I know it’s the same for most of us. I don’t have to tell anyone here how much more than a football game this is. It’s a ritual. It’s good vs evil the same time every year. So, in a way, it’s like saying this is the last Thanksgiving.

It’s surreal to me and I’ve made sure my son understands this is it. It will never be the same again. It could get better, it could be worse, but it will certainly be different. Just think about that this week. My trigger finger is getting itchy to fire the opening shots of this one last glorious Hate Week but as we’re reveling in it, soak it in even more. It's the last one like it.

The bullshit they pulled the last two years is just the icing on the cake, as if any was needed. I don't care if it's 50-0 or 3-2, just win baby.

No institution, coaching staff, team, and fan base ever deserved to eat a big ol' shitburger in their own house more than this bunch.

My only visit to the Pig House. We were so disappointed in the season that we almost didn't go, but we'd already paid so we got on the bus.

When it was 0-13 they started chirping at us. We all know the rest of the story...
