Yep. Don’t care how it’s done just find a way to win.
We are really going to have to commit everything we have to stopping the run. I realize it leaves us vulnerable like last year but we are much better positioned this time around given our personnel in the secondary. The DL will have to live in the backfield, the LBs have just got to stay in their assigned gaps and the secondary needs to clean things up if they get through.
It won’t really matter how our offense does if we can’t win some battles vs their run game. That python analogy I think is a good one and it’s their run game that starts to turn the lights out on teams. If we can’t stop the run somewhat then we won’t win. It’s basically that simple I think.

Putting this crap in here, so we are reminded just how much to loathe these sanctimonious pricks before The Game.
From Harbaugh today, verbatim (without some um’s and uh’s) - warning, may cause vomiting:
The team is on “a mission of faith, it’s a mission of speaking truth to power, it’s a mission of playing for each other, as a band of brothers. It’s a mission, and I see our guys, they’re strong, they’re walking upright and innocent.”
Another verbatim part, with another gag warning:
“The emotion of this team, the perseverance, and then, just the stalwartness of these guys. I mean, yeah, watching I would have to say everybody - it’s gotta be America’s Team, it’s gotta be America’s Team, America … America loves a team that, you know beats the odds, beat the adversity, overcomes what the naysayers and critics, so-called experts think.”

The Wolverines entered the week with -110 odds to win the Big Ten championship, but that dropped slightly to +110 despite their win over Penn State, per Caesars Sportsbook. The Buckeyes' odds improved from +160 to +130 after blowing out Michigan State, 38-3, at home.
Iowa clinched the Big Ten West and comes off a 22-0 Saturday shutout of Rutgers. Oddsmakers project the winner of Ohio State-Michigan will take the conference championship game as well, giving Iowa just +2000 odds to win in Indianapolis.
Michigan is still favored to win the College Football Playoff in the wake of Harbaugh's suspension at +220, leading Georgia (+260), Alabama (+600), Oregon (+750), Florida State (+800) and Ohio State (+1000).
"Ohio State has the best resume with two top 10 wins," Meyer said, via Urban's Take with Tim May. "The Wolverines on film are as good as anybody in the country. They might be the best on videotape. But you have to look at who they're playing. They're just beating teams badly. The winner of that game is the No. 1 team in the country."

Tyleik and Hall cannot wear down but they do rely on speed and athleticism. I wish we had a big dude Ted Washington like and revolve Hall and Williams especially on running downs. Here’s hoping no wear down.

Burke-Davison- Styles-Proctor
Now that’s a physical ass defense.
The thing is I don’t think we lose the ability to cover with this line up either. Give me our Corners against their skill all day and our safety duo can more than handle Loveland too.
We’ve got to do something vs their heavy look and I think Hall over the center would be gross for Michigan to cover. It’ll be important to limit their first down success because if they’re sitting 2nd and 6 every time that’ll be a pain

In my 60+ years on this planet, I don't think I've ever wanted a Buckeye victory in The Game more than I do this year. This year is about more than a Conference championship or CFP spot or bragging rights. This about morality and what is good and just vs evil. The arrogant stench coming from the north is unbearable. The Bucks are pretty much being disrespected and nobody is giving them a chance. It's always seemed that's when the Buckeyes thrive.
