For me the scheme isn't relevant when talking about Threet. He's a redshirt freshman - that's what I wonder about. You always worry about starting a freshman, and it's always the same questions - will he mature fast enough, can he get used to the talent level, etc. And most of all, can the line protect him? Cause if not, then nothing matters, not the playbook or Steven Threet or anything.

And I don't think you can scheme your way around a bad offensive line. Not possible, IMO. If they can't run block, that's half your offense out the window. If they can't pass block, maybe you throw Feagin in there to run around some, but in the end, you can't scheme your way out of blown assignments and physically inferior linemen.

So the scheme is the scheme, and it's not gonna make or break anything. To coin a phrase, it is what it is. If people think the offensive line is the reason we'll lose this game, then I really don't have an answer for that other than "Mike Barwis." I really think the O-line is the difference between 8-4 and 4-8. (And I don't think they're 4-8 bad.)

I see Tressel coaching for another 12 years. IMO he goes 9-3 in that span or better. The series will be 60-50 IF HE wins 9 of the 12...Thats a hell of alot better than the 35-55 record when he took the program over. We will have cut that in half. IMO we catch Michigan in B10 titles as well or come damn close. We already have more recognized NC's. Hell Minnesota has more AP NC's than Michigan.

ended in a 10-10 tie, we got the vote from B10 athletic commissioners to go to the Rose Bowl, scUM stayed home, we killed USC.

Dear Michigan,

Even though nobody has posted in this thread since the season has begun, we haven't forgotten about you. Even though you have only won 1 game so far this year, we haven't forgotten about you. Even though you have the worst record in the Big Ten, we haven't forgotten about you. In 62 days you will make a trip South to Columbus, Ohio. In 62 days you will make a trip back up to Ann Arbor, Michigan, having played, and lost, your last football game for the season. Enjoy the holiday season off. Spend it with family. It's nothing personal. It's not that we wish you ill fortune. It's just that it's so fun to see it happen anyway. But there will always be a part of me, ALWAYS, that will remember sitting in The 'Shoe in 1996, and having you ruin our season. And for that, a part of me will always smile when you lose, and always love when we beat you, no matter HOW BAD YOU ARE.
