In all my years of getting ready for the OSU/Michigan game, I can't recall a game of this nature to be taken so lightly. In 69 the Buckeyes were heavily favored and most of us were talking a 17 to 24 pts blowout but we were upset badly. Kern was intercepted 6 times that game. I hope this will not be a repeat of that game. Strange things can happen anymore.

Yeah, walking out of the stadium in Champaign, my buddy and I were high fiving people, and declaring "it's michigan week!"... with most the responses "F Michigan, etc..."

but one older buckeye fan responded 'who cares?' it was weird... I didn't waste anymore time with that man.

Totally agree - I don't like hearing/reading about how so many Buckeye fans are looking for a blowout. TSUN will come into the Shoe and pull out all the stops, desperate to salvage their season. We are going to have to match their level of emotion and put them away early.

They don't have any fucking stops to pull out. You think they've been saving up all year during a 3-8 season just to surprise us? We will match their emotion...we have the coach. They have the Cooper. Cautiously optimistic..fine...but this fear sickens me. They aren't even a paper tiger...they're just fucking paper. This isn't the nineties.

The only thing we have to do is cheer. Unless arrogance will hurt our enthusiasm if UM scores early, it will have little to no impact on the game.

Michigan will run every play in the book...and still get their asses handed to them. No way in hell Tressel is going let DickRod win their first go round, in the Shoe, with the worst scUM team in 40 years.

69 OSU/Mich game 3PM ESPN

I mentioned in one of my posts the 1969 OSU game with Michigan. It will be on ESPN classics at 3 pm for any you younger buckeyes who would be interested in watching. I know that this is not the nineties and i'm sure Tress will keep the enthusiasim and emotion up to a good level. But Michigan will bring it paper and all. Trust me.
