Michigan's losing season is not good for the Buckeyes.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will participate in a Bowl game for the 20th straight year, and the Michigan Wolverines will have extra time to study for exams this season.

Michigan, the winningest team in college football, are Bowl-less this season. Not only will Michigan finish with its first losing season since 1967, but the nation's longest active bowl streak (33) is also over.
Should we care?

APMichigan coach Rich Rodriguez has had a rough first season.

Everyone knows the disdain between Michigan and OSU, but is a pitiful Michigan team good or bad for the rivalry? Is a lackluster Michigan team bad for the Big Ten?

I mentioned in one of my posts the 1969 OSU game with Michigan. I know that this is not the nineties and i'm sure Tress will keep the enthusiasim and emotion up to a good level. But Michigan will bring it paper and all. Trust me.

They were 7-2 in 1969, playing at home, and their first-year coach was Bo Schembechler, who knew Woody and our players inside and out. Otherwise, it was exactly the same as this year. Let 'em bring whatever the hell they want. :roll1:

If Lloyd were going to be on that sideline...I wouldn't be saying what I'm saying.

It isnt that i fear Michigan maybe its because i remember so many games that we lost and should have won against them. Coach Tress rules over
Michigan, this we know and I feel your fire and hope you are right. The many seniors on this OSU team will have to feel your fire and be leaders out there for Terrell Pryor. Michigan is not the same michigan we all knew and thier season was a disaster. And I agree if Lloyd was there we would not be saying things but you still you have to respect them.

Wrong. OSU went 6-6 and did not play in a bowl game for the 1999 season.

And kinesiology majors don't need extra time to study.
