What shouldn'tbe lost is that this is our first outright Big Ten title since 1984...considering the importance that Woody and Bo used to put on that, I think it is somewhat poetic.

Please.....No rematch. I agree with Herbie, you get 1 shot, and if you don't win the conference, that's it. I don't really care who we play now, we just beat the next best team in the nation. Rutgers, Florida, USC, ND, it doesn't matter. Bring it. Everybody already knows who won the National Championship, and everyone knows who is second best team in the country. This season may as well be in the record books.

It's 3am. It's a bit hot so the windows are open. My son just left to go back to his flat and I noticed that our neighbors lights are on on all sides! 
Those bloody loud Americans! How long does this football season last?
Actually, I had neighbors all around wishing me well before the game tonight. My wife has just come to tell me to come to bed. Appears that she told them that The Game was tonight so forget the quiet!
I'm off to bed guys.

One final thing. If we forego the rematch, then I think TSUN wins the Rose Bowl. We can end up #1 and #2 and the Big Ten can win at least three of the good bowls.

Actually a great game. Mich was very good as I thought they would be. Even thought the score wouldn't have been as close w/o the TO'S.
No one on the field gave up , or even thought about it. I did have one play I loved. the talking heads had just said the Off tackle (long I think) was a sure fire top 10 nfl pick and were talking him up and the next play Gholston put him on his butt. :) .
I don't care who they play for the NC. I would rather see USC or Fla. but whichever is fine.
Troy has over 1,000 yards against them in 3 games.
Like Brent said "give him the Heisman"
Davie said this was the NC game no need to replay it .

Back then, bowl games were more like exhibitions - most champions were voted on before the bowls - that's why Alabama has NC's for 1964 and 1973, even though they lost their bowl games in both seasons (Arkansas and Notre Dame, respectively).
