'Course you would. This team would have a shot at beating you guys. Rutgers would get blown into Mexico.

hey Georgetown played Villanova three times in basketball - lost the third time in the national title game.

The Rodents from Up North had their chance -- and we did all we could to help them out. they didn't get it done. so...

NEXT!

Of course - this game was too close for comfort.

It's probably a moot point anyway - USC and Notre Dame still have the inside track for the title game, and Michigan (despite being the second best team) needs some help to get to Glendale.

I'm all for the Trojans now. they beat Cal and we'll get the winner of USC-ND. I love Rutgers and what they are doing there but don't think people will respect a natl championship won over Rutgers...

Southern Cal, Florida, ND or Rutgers I don't give a damn.

I don't give a damn about Michigan they had their shot, played a damn near perfect game and still lost to a Buckeye team that self destructed in the third quarter. Their goal sould be to not embarrass The Big Ten in the Rose Bowl.

If it's Rutgers fine, I don't give a damn what people "respect". Whoever earns their way into the national title game is fine with me. A 13-0 National Champion Ohio State team doesn't need to earn respect from anyone.

..and let me once again reiterate...

I don't give a damn about the whole state of Michigan!!

I *don't* want a rematch. REALLY don't want a rematch. I've wanted to face USC for the title all season long.

Tonight ... man, I have to say it, they deserve a rematch. If USC doesn't just kill Cal and ND -- Michigan deserves to go to Glendale. Maybe it's just the emotion and adrenaline from what was just an amazing game, but I really feel they are the clear #2, purely by virtue of the fact that they took the CLEAR #1 down to the wire. They had ample reason to give up 4-5 times in that game, and never gave up.

I'm not sure our rivalry has ever been healthier -- even if Tressel is now 5-1 against Lloyd.

Don't get me wrong. I want USC. It's time for that rivalry to come back into clear focus nationally. But no one can deny what Michigan did in the Shoe tonight.

All that aside -- we're going to the National Championship game!

The BCS better not srew up

Not that it matters who tOSU plays, but there are a lot of undeserving teams chomping at the bit. USC losing to Oregon State should have eliminated them for good, but the BCS loves those big markets. It';; be the SEC winner or PAC-10 winner, if those teams only havce one loss. I still think Notre Dame topples USC and meets the BUCKS again.
GREAT WIN TODAY!!!
