Oh course that's true but emergency weekend meetings after a thing happens instead of normal meetings on Monday usually speak of shit going down. Now that could have been the doctors report but considering what happened it's a bad look

As much as i'm conflicted about the B1G straight up shutting everything down. The SEC/Big 12/ACC "We ArE pLaYiNg No MaTtEr WhAt" approach might actually be worse. They are essentially banking on getting through everything with minimal to no instances, which is VERY wishful thinking at this point. I'd still be surprised if toe actually meets leather in 2020 for anyone but they seem determined to ride the sinking ship as long as they can.

And don't think there aren't a ton of admins and faculty at these schools that dearly wish they could be following the B1G's lead, but recognize that they would absolutely be effed in the A by their Governors and legislators in retaliation.

If the Huskers do go down that road we'll know they're looking for a way out of the B1G. I wouldn't be shocked to see them find their way back to the Big XII at some point but I know it's not that simple.

I don't mind Nebraska. The school I never wanted was Rutgers.

May depend on how loud protests are. Back in March, the Denver mayor tried to shut down liquors stores and weed dispensaries. He backtracked off of that in about two hours (dead serious on that 180 timing too).

Was in CO Springs at the time. This checks out. No way you shut down weed and booze in CO.

NCAA was already on borrowed time, I don't see any feasible way it exists in relation to FBS football in the 2022 season, at the latest. This was the final straw, an unpredictable one but one that showed the NCAA is nothing more than a nagging parent that tells you what you CAN'T do, but rarely what you can. They play an unnecessary role with no oversight that can be done in a much better (and likely cheaper) format with the P5's creating their own.
