Texas had a better season last year than OSU this year. The rest is just some obscure argument to make yourself feel better (while ignoring the enormous flaw in OSU's team in 05).
I don't think disappointing encapsulates 1 loss to the champs, beating Texas in the highest profile OOC game in 10 years, crushing Iowa's hopes at home in their highest profile game in a decade, beating UM in the most hyped installment in a long time (possibly ever), and watching our leader win the heisman trophy.

Yet that word also encapsulates getting crushed at home by OSU, losing yet again to "Big Game Bob", losing to KSU & aTm, and narrowly beating a terrible Iowa team?

I was referring to the "losing again to big Game Bob" quote. I assume that's a reference to OU. We beat them. Promise.

I usually pull for Texas when they're playing another team, but enough posts like the ones from footballfanatic in this thread, and when watching the 'Horns in the future I'll be reduced to saying things like:

"An insane deer"

"Paper"

"Taco meat"

I will have you know that phallic symbols are signs of virility. Especially when they're orange and have the number 1 on them. Advantage: phalluses....err.... phalli

Sup guys? Havent posted in a while. I would like to say this was an awesome series, and I wish you guys would have beat Florida, because then people would look back on this home/home and say it was one of the best non-conference series ever with both teams using it to springboard them to an MNC. Even though you guys didnt win it all you were a game away from doing so and I still think that would qualify this as one of the best home/homes ever. I think I speak for all Longhorns and Buckeyes when I say that we would really like to play tOSU again and I'm sure you would like to play UT again. As for who won the series the record books says 1-1. Good luck next year!

Great post. Sure wish we could go for a tiebreaker... might have to set something up in early January some year.
