TenneCheat VolunTears (but..but..but.. we're good at baseball)

Tennessee is Rutgers hiring Ash.
Nothing against Ash... hope he comes home soon haha
Taking those jobs is a career killer for most; esp with no experience. Makes Coordinators look like a case of Peter Principle. Hope the money and buyouts are good.

IDK if that's a good comparison. Rutgers has never been relevant expect for a few years with Schiano, other than that they've been hot garbage, like Cleveland Browns, LA Clippers before Chris Paul bad. Tennessee actually was good back in the day, and has a substantial list of guys who went to the NFL from them. Tennessee is just a delusional fan base and program who still thinks its the 90s and that coaches should've been tripping over themselves for the job(kind of like ND).

@AuTX Buckeye beat me to the punch on the comparison

My point is that today they are Rutgers and they're living in the past just like that school up north.
Yea there's differences in expectations ... but that was the point I'm making. They're Rutgers. They think they're Bama. Regardless of what they did against Eddie George 900 years ago, today it's a dead-end job just like Rutgers and Purdue.
Karma motherfuckers.
The day we bring back John Cooper to be AD and find us an unexperienced Coordinator from flavor-of-the-month powerhouse... pack it in.

So Over/Under 3 years before they run Pruitt out of town for failing to meet their ridiculous expectations?

Over

They'll take a cruise down the river in Egypt for at least 3 years blaming anything and everything on Butch leaving the cupboard bare.

He would have to flame out spectacularly, imo, to be gone in under 3.
