I don’t wish ill on the guy, but I wouldn’t mind seeing UT go winless in the SEC and finish at the bottom of the SEC lEAST again next year (and again the following year). Couldn’t happen to a better fanbase.

Well, I’d personally be fine we’re that to happen to State Penn and rain and their fan bases before UT... but ya know, each their own.

it's been said and I said the same when it looked like Tee Martin was going to get serious consideration - it's a bad situation and a pressure cooker to be a first time Head Coach at....if he doesn't produce instant results those that are supporting him (who also tend to follow whichever way the wind is blowing at the time) will turn on him immediately....

Only one lasted that long and he turned out ok.


My $.02 - I think I'm in the right to give an opinion since he coached for CMR for 3 years.
Whale of a recruiter. All the studs on our current defense (Trenton Thomson, Zo Carter, Roquan Smith) all brought in by Pruitt. In two years, UT will have a very admirable defense.
100% has to hire a great OC because he does not involve himself on that side of the ball at all. It's his defense, the offenses needs to be managed by someone else (to a greater extent, AD Fulmer will likely be involved).

The problem is their offense was absolutely the biggest problem they had under Jones. If this guy can't get a good OC and only concentrates on offense, that's going to remain an issue.

Yeah sure run out the DC guy who has HC experience in the NFL and college, but hire the guy that is a DC with pretty much no experience.
