Teams Ohio State Needs to Lose

If the BlowCanes had held on last night against the Seminoles, I'd say Ohio State would be in for sure considering they win out.

Now, I'm just not sure I see how things will shake out enough. I see it as Oregon/Bama/FSU/Big12 and don't see where those teams drop a game. I wouldn't have a complaint if that were the case. Here's to Chaos.

Have some faith man.

There is almost zero chance all teams in front of OSU run the table. We only need one or two losses.

If OSU beats a top 20 team in the B1G CG they will jump a 1 loss B12 team, I'd be willing to bet on it.

If Oregon, Fsu, big 12 don't lose I think Buckeyes sneak in over big 12. The big 10 champ game over a heisman candidate gives us the edge. Too much money on our side also.
If bama slips before sec champ game miss st takes their spot.
In other words I agree with jax

I look at it by conference (all just my imo).

SEC: If they stay 1 loss each, Bama and MSU are in. If they get a second loss they'll get bumped out for a 1 loss OSU. Lots of talk about it to drive clicks but in the end I think 1 loss B1G champ OSU would win out.

Pac12: No special SEC powers, if Oregon gets a second loss they are out

Big 12: No CCG and no real national media love. If you read between the lines they are prepping these two teams to fall (TCU, Baylor)

ACC: Everyone outside of Tallahassee is just itching for this blight on humanity to trip up. 1 Loss and they are out of top 4 if there are other options.

B1G: Media is starting it's late season course correction. Again, reading between the lines "their top 5-6 teams are as good as anyone" talk has begun. Win out and OSU is solidly in the mix. Can of ass whupping needs to be applied to the next 2 opponents.

The most glorious situation has all SEC teams with two or more losses and an SEC east team winning the SEC championship. Probably not going to happen, but it is more plausible than Oregon losing to UCLA, IMO. Would prefer Missouri be the one to win the SEC, just for the LOLZ that would ensue due to the loss to the Hoosiers.

Okay, all those who had Oregon State beating ASU, Georgia putting a beat-down on former superpower Auburn, Kansas taking TCU to the wire, and Northwestern beating Notre Dame raise your hands... BTW, TCU @ Texas and KSU @ Baylor could be pretty interesting.
