Teams Ohio State Needs to Lose

MSU is gonna clock Iowa.
Idk. I think they win, but I don't think MSU is as good as people think. Their win against osu was somewhat flukey due to the weather. And that game against PSU was nowhere near the blow out the final score indicates. And then looking at the rest of their schedule, they didn't beat teams by nearly as much as they should have. I think they win 27-24.

Maybe, but Iowa has played three teams ranked about #25 to #30 in the power ratings. They caught NW at a good time and won well. They struggled badly, winning by 4 or less against Pittsburgh and Wisconsin. Minnesota also stretched them. I think the Spartan defense will shut them down. We'll see!

By the same who-did-what-against-whom, Sparty lost to Nebraska and Michigan (let's recognize the miracle) while Iowa was up two scores on Nebbie for much of the game. The Hoosiers got pounded in East Lansing and then kept things close against Iowa - but no one out of what I would call the best four defenses in the conference - Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa or Michigan - kept the Hoosiers from scoring at least 24 points.

I think Iowa is better than most of us think - but then again, Iowa didn't play Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State or Michigan. And there never going to have to given the current alignment.

More meat for the grinder regarding the division of schools within the conference's east - west thinking. Put this year's Indiana team in the west and put Iowa in the east and I think you'd get much different results.
