I worked for an old coach who always had a saying for kids like Louis who have been handed the world but refused to use that potential..."You can lead a horse to water but you can't force him to drink." Seems appropriate with this kid.

Interesting if true. I'd think that imminent incarceration would make it kinda hard to get to an 8:30 sociology class. It's a shame that he's wasted all that talent by being a derelict scumbag. Hopefully he pulls his head out of his ass sometime.

He would've had to sit out a year at a I-A school before becoming re-eligible. He doesn't strike me as being the patient type.

I'd say its a preventive measure with his trial upcoming. His progress/rehabilitation could help avoid serious time
