Former Ohio State tight end Louis Irizarry, who served six months of a three-year prison sentence for robbery after a May 2004 arrest, received a minicamp invitation from the Cincinnati Bengals, his agent said. Irizarry was not signed, but could be if he performs well this weekend in Cincinnati. The former All-American, from Youngstown Ursuline, played the past two seasons at Youngstown State after redshirting in 2005. In his career with the Penguins, he saw action in 21 games, starting nine, and caught 42 passes for 437 yards and three touchdowns.
If I recall he was a near 4.0 student in HS with offers from the best of the best in terms of FB and Academics.
