Manager is a KSU grad and warned me before the season started that Howard is a great athlete but will make mistakes that will have you scratching your head. Howard isn’t it! I’m sorry, but he wasn’t the answer. Mediocre at best in my opinion. Has the John Elway smug smile, but he’s not John Elway.

Fields ran into Saban's best team ever and had to take them on with a cracked rib. Nobody was beating 2020 Alabama.

CJ ran into Conor Stallions and most extensive on-field cheating operation in American sports history.

There are some excuses to be made for Day. Today, there are none. It's not binary.
ok how the fuck did Day lose to Clemson Fields sophomore season when we were up massively??? Same shit different year

He made 2 back breaking mistakes in a tight game. The fact that this game ended up that right is on Day and Co though with the awful game plan.

Barbie went off on runs up the middle, and we had no answer is my memory. Day can be blamed for some losses, and there are others where there are legitimate reasons we lost other than coaching.. Shit happens, and Ohio State doesn't get to win every big game it ever plays in. I remember an entire decade when we didn't even get to play in big games.

If you're that wrapped up in it, you probably need to tune it out and take up a hobby.

I don't blame the trenches. The trenches did us damn proud. The O gave the QB time to throw were just ineffective when they ran the ball up the middle or short side. Would Seth have helped? Probably.

Like my dad and mom said Day and Kelly coached this game like someone who believed the myth about running for more yards wins the game. You stop wasting 2nd a medium on runs trying to prove yourself and this game likely turns out different.
It’s not a myth. The formula for winning usually favors the team that runs the ball, stops the run, and wins the turnover battle. But it doesn’t mean that the game is unwinnable if you can’t run. It’s just harder and it involves taking more risks.

Day proved the adage today but he didn’t have to. I’ve seen games won by teams who totally abandoned the run. Day said during his postgame presser that you can’t do that but if the alternative is losing the game then you have to try. This game might have been won if they had tried running the 2-minute offense more in the second half. Maybe sprinkle in some runs but they wasted so many downs repeatedly running into a brick wall.

Mediocre at best!?!? What type of fucking expectations do you have of an OSU QB? The guy was incredibly solid all year long. He did make some mistakes and today they definitely hurt. No one knows how “right” he was mentally after getting hurt. He didn’t seem like the same QB after that today.

2022 was completely stolen from this team but IMO 2021/2023/2024 were not.

What Connor really did do though was killed our program mentally. That 2022 game set our program back 5 years with how badly that game was stolen.

This situation reminds me of how people used to not be able to clean and press 400 pounds. Once someone did it was then done multiple times after. It’s amazing what mentally blocks can do to a team and we absolutely have one now with TCUN.
