I could give a rats ass at this point. If Day and Kelly are still coaching here next season my Saturday’s are going to be wide open.

Not going through the Cooper shit all over again

Cooper was better than Day.

Cooper left the program in far better shape than where it started. Earle Bruce had run this program into the ground when it wasn't a national player anymore.

Coop changed that and since the mid 1990s the program has been a national title contender more years than not.

Day inherited Urban's legacy and hasn't done shit.

You serious Clark? He had good recruiting in the mid 90s but the program was a shamockery in 1999-2000.

Agreed… the last two years of Cooper were really terrible.
That offensive line along with coaching acumen will be shot in the playoffs…at best it leads to a missed FG as time expires to win.
if we get a home playoff game maybe we can get one win but you’re right it’s probably ending in “ah damn almost”.

Other thing I don't like about Day is his QB selection. And maybe that's just coming from me being a bit spoiled from those athletic guys that Urban Meyer brought in, but I don't know. I mean yes when Howard gets protected as he should be, he can make most throws and operate like a traditional QB, but if that breaks down, he's not going to elude a whole lot of guys.

But I seriously think if we're going to beat these guys we gotta get back to.getting more of the JT Barrett and Justin Fields types who at least could wear the defenders out making them try and chase them all over the field.
Ummm He had Justin Fields and CJ Stroud. WTF are you talking about. Remember Ewers fucked us too. Now the question is how the fuck did we not get a national championship with those 2 a QBs

But but Will was supposed to be a tough and fast runner according to all the bs that came out of camp

Fields ran into Saban's best team ever and had to take them on with a cracked rib. Nobody was beating 2020 Alabama.

CJ ran into Conor Stallions and the most extensive on-field cheating operation in American sports history.

There are some excuses to be made for Day. Today, there are none. It's not binary.

His players suing each other and fighting in the locker room, along with Reggie Germany's 0.0 GPA say hello.
