Very amused to see that the Arkansas special teams, which almost won the game, were coached by the one and only John L Smith...

YouTube - Blocked FG/TD, John L. Smith's meltdown - Michigan State 2005

I was sitting around the 40 yard line on the Sparty side of the field. Watching his meltdown during and after the play was a hoot.

That play totally turned the game our way and we rolled in the second half.

Going back to read through this thread during the last few minutes of the game is now hilarious to me. It also caused another mini heart attack, I believe. I had to be up at 5AM today and I got maybe an hour of sleep last night, if that. I'm still running off the fumes of our victory. Adrenaline didn't stop pumping long enough to allow my body to rest.

God bless TOSU! Here's to the beginning of many more victories over the SEC. The first half was a sight to behold. I loved the feeling of the route being on, just too bad we didn't finish the curb-stomping in the second half. It sure made for a mind blowing finale, though. Talk about exhausting.

When you look up the definition of 'money' there should be a big picture of Mr. Sanzenbacher making yet another insane reception. Season MVP if you ask me.

*For the haters who say that Arkansas "Beat Themselves" or "if" they would have just picked up the blocked kick or without the dropped passes, etc.... Just laugh  or yawn :! Buckeyes!

Here are your are vast choices of unnecessary counters.

1. Even after the blown false start call Pryor should have know where the 1st. down maker was instead of picking up 14 1/2 yards if so game over or
2. Boom should have ran through the correct humongous hole instead of running into a guy and getting pushed into the end zone for a safety or
3. The safety call was by far the shitty safety call EVER! It was the first time ever I have seen a safety called like that one or
4. For that matter Boom shouldn't have fumbled on 4 and 1/2 yard or
5. Buchanan taking three huge slow steps with his head down on the blocked punt or
6. Big Cam being dry-humped (held, holding) from behind on literally 85% of the passing plays which if called would have turned the Hogs comeback into a snooze fest/blow-out....even a couple Hogs fans at the same bar made those exact same comments or
7. The 3 legit personal foul calls not called against Arkansas. What is that 45 yards....(Against LSU BCS Champ. Game we gave up 45 yards on 3 PF calls and it really hurt us.) and
8. Mainly Coach Tressel and staff getting conservative too early in the second half. Love ya but foot down through the 3rd. Quarter Jimbo!!!

SEC necks are annoyed and don't want to recognize our win but we came into their backyard and beat a well coached team that has the the best offense in the SEC hands down...the Hogs were a true contender in the vaunted SEC this year having Bama on the ropes bad as well as All-Barn till they were beat late. I mean come on now, isn't "The Legend" Ryan Mallett the 1st. or 2nd. QB that will be taken in the 2011 draft? Anyway as always excuses are like A-Holes everybody has one and they all stink.

But guess what haters....here is what all Buckeye Nation gets to savor going forward we are holding the Sugar Bowl Trophy in the middle of the Superdome not the SEC. Simple put winning the game 31-26 truly is the best counter which make my above list irrelevant.

How sweet it is!

Lastly, I think it is safe to say we have officially killed off the SEC speed dominance against tOSU myth (been kind of quiet lately with that one) and after winning against Oregon which is essentially the same team playing for the National Championship next Monday and our 6 BCS wins MOST EVER,whether any Bitch Ass Hater likes it or not we are right there holding it down with the Biggest of the Big Boys year in year out!

To all Hogs fans You are very classy and knowledgeable bunch, so truly this isn't directed your way just the reporters, D-Bag SEC necks and Buckeye haters. Your team hung in there with a team that has played in the most BCS games ever...hold your heads high and I hope you win the SEC next season.

:oh:

HB

If they hadn't allowed Arkansas to hold Cam there would not have been much of a game to watch. He was simply more than anyone on their line could hold, not unlike Florida's two DEs in the 06 NC game.

Frankly I thought Arkansas did look faster than the Buckeyes, but they couldn't stop Cameron, or Simon or Rolle. They certainly seemed to have receivers who were able to get separation, especially once Chekwa was out. Thought the kids who had to fill in at DB spots did a fantastic job of hanging in.

Just got back from NOLA....

Wow, what a game.

We made it closer than it should of been but a win is a win!

We were on the Ohio State side and of course a few of the less classy Arkansas fans were right infront of us... wow was that satisfying.

Just a great atmosphere overall, most of the Arkansas fans that we met were classy which was good as they outnumbered us pretty badly.

The S-E-C chant by the Buckeye fans was great.

This picture of me taken by a reporter from the Cleveland Plain Dealer sums up my trip.

Clearly we were faster in the first half. Tressel ball could make this year's Hoosier team look faster than us and it was definitely on full display in the second half.

Loved Cristian Bryant pass break up in the second half and agreed that the young fellows stepped in huge!

One thing that's stupid, is all the "iffers."

If Arky had done this, if Arky had stopped that, or run this, or caught that...

I call bullshit! EVERYTHING is "if" in hindsight...

IF I had been born into a rich family, I'd be set.. of IF I'd win the lottery, I'd also be set.

THAT is why the games are played. I don't care IF they dropped 10 buzillion passes - tough shit. Do your farking job.

"Iffing" after the game, is cheap, childish, and irresponsible reporting to boot - IF ESPiN was smart, they'd fire half these talking heads.

Course, we know I have a better chance of winning the lottery, than them doing that
