How are they overlooked? Hell, ESPN said they'd beat us and win the national title.

hmmm true i guess thats a valid point. ill change that and say they were overlooked about the second to last week of the years because all you heard about was arkansas and florida and then when LSU beat arkansas they drew the media again which they should. i think they would beat florida if they played again.

For anybody torn about who to cheer for in this game, think about all the "we're back" boasting and BS from ND fans (and the media) this offseason if they do anything but not get blown out in this game... GO LSU.

Even if they lose a close one they will claim a moral victory because no one gave them a chance. Mark it down. If they do win their heads would probably explode with arrogance and a strong case of amnesia and they would probably start calling for Brady Quinn to retroactively be given the Heisman. *shudder* It's scary to think about, let's just hope it doesn't happen.

86 - THE AVERAGE ND fan will not brag about how ND is back, hell we just happy as hell the Bowl jinx is gone... Sorry but you are wayyyyyy out of touch with the average ND fan

PS - Come on ND! I AM SO TIRED OF HEARING ALL OF THIS CRAP...........

that's because the "average ND fan" can't name five players on the team and probably doesn't even watch the games, but I wasn't talking about the "average ND fan"... just the ones who spout off on message boards

You still don't know what the hell you are talking about...

I spout off on message boards, and if ND does win I will be happy but I won't be acting as if ND is number one or anything.

Listen up, people. This is just the kind of game Notre Dame wins. "They have no chance" the whole world is saying.

Watch. Wait. See.

They better not. I gave this game my 32 ranking in my bowl pool. I'm currently leading out of 69 people.

Need LSU to pull through.

This is a good point, but years of losing bowls and beating no one of consequence under Weis has pervaded ND's collective head at this point...the offense has come up with a drive at the end against decent but relatively pedestrain teams (like UCLA), but I don't think the defense has the toughness to get a critical stop against a good team like LSU. If this game is close, I still think LSU wins.
