Sugar Bowl - LSU 41, Notre Dame 14 (Final, Jan. 3, 2007)

Probably going to be a game-time decision as far as who I root for.
I'd opt for LSU...

A great game will push Jamarcus to the pros (and hurt LSU's chances next year), humiliate ND yet again, and kickoff the awful 2007 calendar year for ND.

Re: bold portion - I'm pretty sure Les Miles will take care of that. :p

I'm with Prof. I'm looking for an old school beat down.

I'll settle for a critical beatdown

I have three things to say about this one...

  1. As much as I dislike Notre Dame; if they pull off a miracle then OSU can put the BIG-10 ahead of the SEC in conference winning % in BCS games with a win on the 8th.
  2. Notre Dame has been told for weeks that they have no chance. This may have an effect on them.
  3. DSA says this is a 15 point game.
Points 2 and 3 run counter to one another. Will the "disrespect" have NoD so fired up that they cover?

All in on LSU.

im torn here. i want the SEC to lose but i dont really mind LSU much since they are overlooked and imo they are the best team in the SEC. i dont really like ND but at the same time im wanting them to beat the SEC team. hmmmm i guess ill go for LSU blowing them out worse than miami last year but ill have to put up with SEC fans claiming they are god since they beat up on the domers but i suppose its only a couple days and then we win so maybe ill live through it.

For anybody torn about who to cheer for in this game, think about all the "we're back" boasting and BS from ND fans (and the media) this offseason if they do anything but not get blown out in this game... GO LSU.

Even if they lose a close one they will claim a moral victory because no one gave them a chance. Mark it down. If they do win their heads would probably explode with arrogance and a strong case of amnesia and they would probably start calling for Brady Quinn to retroactively be given the Heisman. *shudder* It's scary to think about, let's just hope it doesn't happen.
