Star Wars (May the Force be with you)

Saw the film with my Dad and son last weekened. Overall, I enjoyed it. There were a couple parts that left me with a "meh" feeling (Leia doing her best Superman, etc), but overall, I think it's a good film.
My Dad also liked it. My ten-year-old kept checking his watch over and over. Just beyond him outside of the action scenes, and 2 1/2 hours is a lot to ask for him to sit through.

If you have The Last Jedi or are getting it soon, do yourself a favor and make sure you connect it with MoviesAnywhere so that you can watch the score-only version. No dialogue, no special effects sounds, just the visuals and John Williams' brilliant score. I just finished watching this version, and holy crap! I didn't expect to be as good as it was. There are a few dead spots where there's only dialogue, but they last at most about a minute, most are just 10-15 seconds long. There are moments that I think are just as effective, if not more so, without all the special effects and background sounds.

Seriously, link it up, download the MoviesAnywhere app on your FireTV/AppleTV/Roku (or connect your computer to your TV if you don't have any of those and use the website), and watch the score-only version. Damnit, I want this for like every movie John Williams has ever composed for now.
