Spring Practice Info and Tidbits (starts 3/31)

Its happened before!

First of all, don't think moving Pryor to WR couldn't or won't happen. I am 72 years old and have watched OSU football since the late 40's. I have personally watched all of the guys play that most of you have only heard about, except Les Horvath! In 1978 a highly touted freshman named Art Schlichter came on the scene at OSU and Woody had a dilema....start him or play my outstanding regular Rod Gerald?.(no I am not going to compare TP to Rod Gerald, but Gerald was very good)...What happened the first game of the season...Schlichter went to QB and Rod to WR. What I personaly think we will see is Miller and Tp at QB, with TP doing some WR stints. Could 7 games get Pryor ready to be a pro QB? maybe not..could it prove he is a dangerous receiver and a guy who can deliver YAC(yards after catch) yards..probably so....it will be interesting....

I'll telling you now. I guarantee it WON'T happen. Whether you're 2 or 72 it will NOT happen.

BTW, what happened in that first game in 1978 against Penn State?
