I'm all for irrationally hating on the opponent, but what do you guys want the kid to say?

Reporter: Matt, how do you think you'll react to your first hostile environment?
Matt B: Oh gosh....I'm probably going to go into shock and start weeping. Those people scare me.
Reporter: You know that place can get 106,000+.....all those angry fans screaming at you...
Matt B: Really? Hey Coach....do I have to go?
Pete C: Yes, why?
Matt B: They're going to yell at me.....just thinking about it makes me....
*Matt B runs off with a noticeable wet stain on the front of his shorts....sobbing the whole time*
I would not have said what he said.... I'd have said something along the lines of, "Well you never know what it's going to be like until you've actually been there. This will be a first for me. I can't really imagine what the atmosphere will be like."

Simple statement.

"I don't think that will make a difference," Barkley said of the Columbus crowd. "The atmosphere will be nuts. I probably don't even know how it will be. That won't faze me."...

Barkley's right. For him, this game will be like a day at the beach.

I'm going to go with:

"it will be quite a challenge, hopefully we are up for it."
"They have really great fans, its going to be loud but hopefully we can go in there and compete and see what happens"

Things like that instead of the "this is easy", "I was born to do this", "It won't bother me" shit this little fuckhead has been spewing.

Like I said earlier this week, win lose or draw I hope they beat his bitch ass half to death. I want his next sit down with God to go something like this;

MB: "Why did you let me get abused and humbled like that? I thought we had a deal, I was born to do this remember?"

God: "About that, I was talking to Jax this week and well, I just couldn't do it to the poor bastard again. He's had his nuts kicked up into the roof of his mouth the past few years and you, well its been all sweet sunshine and rosemary for you. Welcome to life, sorry about your ribs, have a nice day."

furthermore, this could actually get the crowd more into the game. the 105,000 fans are going to be screaming for the first 30 minutes no matter what. if we start hitting barkley in the second quarter it'll just help to keep the crowd going more consistantly.
While I'm playing the contrarian....I might as well keep going.

If USC scores early, the OSU fans will get quiet. I saw it at the LSU game. In the back of most of their minds, they're afraid of losing the game. They'll be loud to start....but if their expectations of a blowout are met early, they'll pack up. For the Shoe to be loud for the whole game, OSU has to be in it the whole game.

Luckily for us, USC is a slow starter.

45-17

USC O-Line dominates, Pryor is kept in check by disciplined LBers, and the secondary wreaks havoc on Pryor's throws deep and across the middle.

Pryor with 3 picks, USC with 200+ rushing yards, and 200+ passing. Blows open in the 3rd quarter.

45 against a cupcake team like San Hose state maybe, I can't believe we'll see that here. If the game is close, Gameday will need to turn up the mics to call the game. That freshman QB won't know where to turn and pressure from Cam or Gibson will have him running for his life. That will be fun to watch.

Go Buckeyes :oh:

I will make any bet of any amount on any of the following...

The score
Pryor 3 picks
200 yards rushing for USC

Put your money where you mouth is!
