new guy to the forum
just wanted to say whats up to the buckeye nation out there. have been in love with the buckeyes since 94. im 20 years old and live in sacramento ca. i have lots of family in ohio and hoping to move there next fall after school is done. and maybe attend the univerity. looking foreward to meeting some new fans out there. and i dont give a damn for the whole state of michigan:osu: :osu:

Aspirations for Greatness
I am a long time lurker, who finally registered and became a poster. I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a life-long fan of the scarlet and gray who hails from NW Ohio. I love the site and appreciate the insight of the posters on this board. Like many fans, my passion for the tOSU may be a bit too avid at times but I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope to contribute to the site whatever I can.
I'm sure this has been said many times, but the other sites (who shall remain nameless) are getting old with all of the sky is falling types. It's a great time to be a Buckeye (it always has been and always will be) and I don't need to see all the negativity. Perspective and class is what makes this site so much better.
I have one "newbie" question - how can I learn about points, the bank, vbPlaza, gifts, etc? Thanks for any help.

Great site you guys have here.
I was born in Cleveland back in '84 and am an avid Browns and Cavs fan. My father attended Ohio State and was a helluva distance runner, so naturally growing up I wanted to do the same, although football was and is still my passion. I played three years of football in high school, then missed my senior year because of a knee injury. Despite the injury I had a couple nice offers from nearby smaller schools but I decided The Ohio State University was where I wanted to be. I graduated (unlike my father
) and now am living out my dream by being a coach.
When I was little my father promised me if OSU ever made it to the national championship game that we would attend, and needless to say that beautiful night when our Bucks triumphed over Miami is the highlight of my life. Ive been to every OSU-UM game since Tressel became coach, and try to make it to every Penn State game also (I hate those fuckers.)
I dont have much else to say, other than its bullshit that they dont have bowl games up north where the real football is played!
