Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

Hi all!! Big Buckeye backer now in Louisville!! I grew up in Central Ohio and have always stayed a HUGE fan!!! I just found this place while doing a Google search and it seems like a really neat site.

I am pretty busy, so I probably will not get an opportunity to post very often, but I really like all the information here. Go Bucks!!

I'd like to introduce myself

What's up everybody? I'm new to this forum and am glad to be part of the Buckeye family.

I'm from Canton, OH and I actually lived a block away from the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. I love the Buckeyes but will forever have ties with the Wolverines because former Heisman winner Charles Woodson is my COUSIN and favorite athlete... It's a long story on why he didn't go to Ohio State, he gets a hard time whenever he goes home to Ohio. Anywayz this seems like a cool place and I'm glad to be here. Lookin forward to crushin the Gaytors in the National Championship. LATEZ!

I grew up watching the Buckeyes play football (and UCLA play basketball...I will never forget the John Wooden days and the 77-game streak). We lived in Guernsey County, but I was born in Mansfield. The worst part of having to watch the Buckeyes down South is they never show Script Ohio down here, and to me that is part of the game. I kind of fell away in the post-Woody years, and didn't pay much attention to college football through the 90s. My passion was rekindled in 2002, and I was able to watch the NC game with my dad in Florida two years before he passed on. Now I dread the end of college football season. Pro football just isn't the same....nice, but not the same.

I'm a tax nerd in the Atlanta area, married, with a step-daughter who has two kids. My step-grandchildren are the best thing that ever happened to me and I love to spoil them.

I don't think my penis has ever changed colors before, though.:wink2:

I'll assume that's a typo on the 88-game streak, rather than assuming you forgot either the first 11 or last 11 games. :tongue2:

Good catch. My memory must be going. Let's hope it's the last thing to go. I do remember the streak started and ended with Notre Dame. Amazingly, he never faced ND in the final game for any of his ten championships.

For anyone not familiar with Coach Wooden... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wooden

Did not see a new members area so I figured this was the best place to introduce myself. Thanks for having me. Been an avid Buckeyes fan since I can remember and I figured I would spend the few minutes of free time I have here.

Welcome man.

Feel free to post in the Sound-Off thread tacked to the top of this forum.
