I totally agree. Those are my third and second favorite fight songs... Purdue's isn't as well known as it should be.Notre Dame, Hail to the Black and Gold (Purdue)
But I just don't get this. I respect what USC has done a ton, but I hate that song. The frequency their band plays it doesn't help. They seem to play the damn thing after turnovers to celebrate that the other team didn't return it for a touchdown.cincibuck said:Fight On for USC
I understand what you're saying, but now we're talking about band behavior and not the song itself. The other thing they do that drives me nuts is that Hollywood - Roman Gladiators entrance thing after every damn play. Still it's a good fight song. Just pondering, why are the West Coast fight songs in 6/8 and the Big Ten's in 4/4. We got a band geek on board to explain that?I totally agree. Those are my third and second favorite fight songs... I'll throw in The Final Countdown by Europe. It was a horrible Metal song as that's what they tried to portray it as.
As a radio pop song, its kind of neat.
I would love to take half a year off to tour with them...really cool
Why would anyone be embarassed that they like Dream Theatre or that they think that Dream Theatre is one of the most innovative bands that has happened in the past decade or more?
