SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Fox analyst: U-M has more talent than I thought

...He explained he had a 38-second conversation with Harbaugh -- more than the BTN crew, which didn't get a sitdown -- and it was limited...

...As impressed as Klatt is with Harbaugh -- he repeated his statement from Monday's Fox Sports podcast that Harbaugh is the best college football coach in the country -- he knows he got just a brief window into the team...

I didn't realize their QB situation was unsettled, figured it was Iowa transfer all the way.
Another quote in that article, from Morris... sounds like they're feeling the pressure

"Expectations can go both ways," Morris said. "The guys he's worked with, all the quarterbacks, all the wins he's had, the success he has, he has high expectations for us and that's an awesome thing and we're excited about it. But that's also the worst thing too because we're coming in coach Harbaugh's first year and a lot of people look at him as the savior of this school. That's a lot on his shoulders, a lot on our shoulders as a team. But we kind of forget about that, focus on Utah and work one week at a time."

C'mon Utah, punch them right in the mouth and shatter their fragile psyches and make them lose faith in their mentally deranged head coach immediately.

It must be hard enough dealing with Harbaugh's psychotic ass when the wins are piling up- 2-2 and he could lose the program for the entire year.

I don't know, Utah won by three possessions at Michigan last year and looked to have better athletes everywhere while doing it, which was probably the most eye-opening thing about that game.

True. Just a feeling on what can happen when two inept offenses meet up (which is anything).

I'll observe the best betting advice I ever received and not lose money betting on two bad teams.

I would be willing to bet the over on LULZ

So, if Harbaugh lives up to his hype and coaches them up a bit while ridding himself of the worst of the Hoke deadweight, it's at best a toss-up. I still Yutes by 10.

Well played Popular Mechanics. Well played. I'm taking the Utes to cover.

Utes respond to ‘cupcake’ remark in Popular Mechanics calendar

SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah football team kicks off the season a week from Thursday when the host Michigan at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

The Utes have some extra motivation, but it didn’t come from the Wolverines. In the latest edition of Popular Mechanics, the magazine’s monthly calendar put this on the calendar on September third. “College football season gets underway tonight with the University of Michigan in a cupcake game against Utah.”

The Utes already have the quote up on their bulletin board.
