Oh how I hope he implodes and becomes a coach that doesn't finish his first year.

We can dream. I think it would take a clearly televised and witnessed slugging of a ref, opposing coach or player to make it happen. UM is so invested in the dream of The Harbaugh that they're gonna let him get away with a lot of crazy, destructive [Mark May] before this is all over.
My personal dream involves Urban letting a defensive player (say, Josh Perry) rush for a last second TD to go up 41-0 at the final gun and The Harbaugh rushing the field in an uncontrolled rage throwing haymakers at anyone (friend or foe) that he can reach. That might do it.
I give him next year, and next year only, to beat MSU or the Buckeyes. If, by year three, he loses both those games, Gonzo.
Not so sure if only because where do they go from there? They are literally all-in on The Harbaugh in a way that no program has been all-in since probably Bama with Saban. Barring a player (or 13 year old camper) death or a horrific Woody type off-field incident, I give The Harbaugh 5-6-7 years. The WalMarts'll start whining and even the alums, but the admin knows the hole that they've dug themselves into. They fire The Harbaugh, and this is Michigan foosball:
Honestly, I'm not sure which is the greater scenario: The Harbaugh fails on the field or flames out off it.....OR, The Harbaugh shows them a glimmer of success and then bolts to the NFL to chase the Super Bowl dream before actually getting them to the promised land. Either way, I'm gonna need more lotion.

Any theories as to why Schembechler's coaching tree has sucked so much balls? This
There is no where else to go. "All in" doesn't do justice to how committed they are to this myth they are creating up there.

Uh, did I hear that right?
Hardball on College Gameday preview: "It's like getting ready to fight a matador...your paw's scratching at the ground."
Umm, Jim...you do know who the traditional loser is in that equation, right?
Paw?
