Shaggy Texas - Shaggy Bevo, Thujone, MS Pain, Butt Hurt, and BBQ (RIP)

State Penn in a conference w/ Texas and ND? Yes please. That would really make the cults' heads explode. They'd be with their academic peers (in their minds), yet would find out how good they really had it with OSU/TSUN being the big boys of the conference once they dealt with the shit UT and ND would pull.

If there was a league with UT and ND any other team with them would essentially be suffering the equivalent to the NCAA's "death penalty" I'm all for it.

Eventually, I think they would turn on each other. Neither of those institutional cultures could stand the gnawing notion that the other might be getting a bit more or that they are not the parasite sucking the most out of the host. It might take several years, but when it came, it would be glorious.

They were desperate. Their previous host was dying underneath them, and they had nowhere to jump. They knew the Big Ten would take them but only as an equal member with no special treatment, and that is unacceptable. The ACC was the only feasible landing spot for all their non-football sports, though the arrogant pricks actually had the balls to approach Delany about putting their hockey team in the Big Ten.

Plus, they're Notre Dame. I have no doubt the priests consider that contract about as inviolate as an alter boy's rectum. Their sense of special snowflake entitlement undoubtedly allows them to believe that they can walk away from it the moment that it's no longer in ND's best interests.

:slappy:I was actually laughing enough for the guy next to me to come over.
You're going to get sent off to Gee's sensitivity training if you're not careful.

Well, Randolph Duke finally did it. He screeded aggy into doing something completely lame on an officially sanctioned institutional level.

Think about this; an AAU, and supposedly respectable, university has actually set up an official website to counter the Shag postings of a guy going under the pseudonym of one of the Duke brothers from Trading Places. It's almost like ped state if the BWI cult were actually calling the shots.

"...With a staggering capacity of 102,512, including the largest student section in the country, the 12th Man continues to make Kyle Field one of the nation's most intimidating college football venues..."

Texans. It couldn't be possible that there are three stadiums in the Big Ten with more seats, two in Los Angeles and at least one in the SEC.

Insane. They have one NC, in 1939. Their only sustained success in the non-leather helmet age was with Jackie Sherrill cheating his ass off, and that era's greatest season ended with Chris Spielman using aggy to wipe his ass.

They also had that other good season where they still managed to lose a bowl game to a John Cooper coached team.

Something I found funny from that reddit thread linked in their tell me about aggy thread
Sumlin understands, don't treat your players like $#@!. Be positive and make the program a fun and happening place they want to be around, not a tight ship atmosphere that rivals a military training facility where no fun is allowed. This is a major reason why A&M continues to out recruit Texas. Texas A&M is a fun program with energy, Texas is a boot camp.
Isn't that what they do to incoming freshman with their brainwashing camp?

Like I have said before...all mouth and no ass to back it.

The what now?

Embassy security details are usually commanded by NCOs not officers. I believe it is one of the few commands not led by an officer. "Command Sergeant" was the general term that we used to refer to him. I have no clue if that conformed to Marine terminology.

Edit:
Here's what wikipedia has:
Each Detachment is commanded by a Staff Non-Commissioned Officer, being one of the few instances where an enlisted Marine may hold the title of "commander". Generally between the ranks of Staff Sergeant and Master Gunnery Sergeant, Marine Detachment Commanders serve two tours, which generally last 18 months each.

And how is it that UT operates 16 fewer varsity sports than us (36 to 20) while taking in $20M more in revenue, yet their AD is actually losing fucking money while we're turning a $30M profit. There is either a shocking amount of fraud or a grotesque level of incompetence going on there..........or both.
