Shaggy Texas - Shaggy Bevo, Thujone, MS Pain, Butt Hurt, and BBQ (RIP)

What exactly?
I read through 1 more page than before... no way I'm making it to 13 or whatever it is with 1000 posts/page
All I discovered is that shaggybevo now redirects to chaturbate.

Hello fellow Longhorns™,
It has been very interesting and educating to read this thread. Those dirty aggies pulled a fast one during realignment and out manuvered us. For this I am sorry and I can't figure out how we're stuck in such a weak conference. However, we are Texas™ and we have our own beloved LHN and options to dominate NCAA football, baseball and all other sports. Unfortunately as the other conference are bind together to form their own networks we will have to be aggressive. This is a 2 prong approach:

A) Go international. We will be THE football program to watch in Mexico, China and all of the Middle East. It may take time, but we will bring both the LHN and football to countries who have no idea of the sport or our brand. We will expand, we will dominate, we will bring in $$$. This will take time and the right business partners to bring their teams and be shown on the one, and the only Longhorn Network™.

B) We're going Independent. No other conference is a good cultural fit for our brand, our style and we will not share revenue with anyone. We're on top and I plan to not only keep it that way but to expand our power base. Once we have severed ties to the deadweight of the Big 12 we will be able to schedule premiere teams and broadcast it exclusively on the LHN. We will bring the most excellent football this state has ever seen. The best part is we will have 85% home games, broadcasted on our very own LHN, which will expand coverage as fans across the nation (and soon the world) demand their carrier bring them the LHN so we may bring the Burnt Orange and White to every home with a TV set.

And the best part is our away games in other countries will still be 'home' games. We are the Joneses. We are Texas™.

Your AD,
S. Pattersson

LHN... Lol.

Ok, so a couple days ago I got home from work, kicked up my feet, and was channel surfing. Going between ESPN (1602) and BTN (1650) I saw a UT practice being televised on LHN. I stopped to watch and realized it was bowl prep for the 2010 BCS National Championship Game (amazing production value on the footage, since LHN didn't exist when this was filmed).

Yes, LHN off season filler is daily affirmations with Mack Brown 10 days before we all know they got annihilated by Alabama.

Cannot believe this channel doesn't have wider distribution... Such riveting viewing. I actually continued onto BTN to listen to Randy Edsell talk about how awesome his kicker is.

ESPN is losing their ass on this, but is contractually obligated to keep paying UT $15M/year. I think they would like nothing better than to fold it into some conference network that they control 100%. I just can't think of which one. Hmmmmm? PAC? No, that's FOX. B1G? Fox too. How about a B12 Network? Conference tied into Fox too and in any event would mean UT taking the self-sacrificing move to give up their $15M/year for a network where everything is split evenly. [Some guy laughing.gif] Stupid aggy actually thinks they could block UT to the SEC if the latter actually decided to make the jump with OU. ESPN would send Mossad hit squads to College Station if it meant unloading the LHN.

Doesn't PAC 100% own their network? (Thus why they can't get distribution)
Espn also shares t1 & t2 rights evenly w/Fox.
Seems like the obvious choice to me.

I believe so. Makes the FOX split in the BTN seem like genius. Big Ten also has a much larger national alumni presence than the PAC where grads tend to stay out there, which undoubtedly helps. Hopefully, we can get everything else moved over to FOX with the new contract and leave ESPN behind once and for all.

I dont know... Fox seems to have embraced ESPNs model. PAC has t1/t2 figured out in my imo.
By having espin and fox commercials split their games evenly, they got a massive amount of cash and keep both in line.
