SG Jon Diebler (2nd-Most Big Ten career 3-Pointers, Butler Recruiting Director)

While I think most believe that Ohio State goes as Turner goes, it is my belief that as Diebler outside shooting goes determines if the Buckeyes win games or not. It also would be very nice to see Jon developed a mid-range game before the start of next season.

Not Turner and not Deibler , but as the whole team , If the team plays well they win and it really doesn't matter who scores as shown by the game in which Turner only made two points if I remember.

I'm confused...last year Bruce Hooley said Diebler was no better than the tenth man on the bench, and probably wouldn't average more than 6 a game for his career. That doesn't line up with being named honorable mention All Big 10.

The coaches and media need to take a closer look....Bruce is never wrong and never trys to stir the pot.

Last year I agreed with Hooley.

Jon made great strides this season. Congratulations to the young man, who is also a candidate for the sportsmanship award for the conference. Great job!

Totally agree. From where Jon was last year to this year has been a drastic improvement. I guess he just needed to get used to the college game and work on getting open to get some open looks. I just could not believe last year was the same player who I had seen play in the high school games that were televised last year. Props to Jon:osu:

Alot of high schoolers have to adjust to the new ball game so Deibler's struggles didn't surprise me at all. He had to learn to get open before he could be effective.
