SG Jon Diebler (2nd-Most Big Ten career 3-Pointers, Butler Recruiting Director)

I like him in more of a 6th man role. Ron Lewis came in as the 6th man and performed well enought to become a starter by his senior year. Daequan Cook was a pretty good 6th man during the first half of the season last year as well. Let him get the flow of things from the bench, then come in with fresh legs and a purpose. Last night he sure looked like the guy I saw in all of those videos last year. Well definitely need that type shooting for Florida.

I still say he looks exactly like McLovin.

I was at a xmas party last night in Bucyrus and was delighted to find out that Jon's grandparents lived nearby. My host stated that he knew the family. He claimed that Jon's older brother was a better BB player than Jon is. Not a better shooter, player. That would be the one who went to Valpo.
He should know since he watched them all grow up and play.

It was John's oldest brother Jeremiah that was someone to watch.
Jeremiah, who led the state in scoring as a Gibsonburg senior, was named Ohio Divsion IV co-player of the year that season (1999-2000), capping a 1,709-point career. After averaging 12.4 points a game as a Willard sophomore in 1997-98, Jeremiah joined the Golden Bears as a junior, contributing 25.8 points per game and earning second-team all-district honors. As a senior, Jeremiah scored a Gibsonburg record 60 points in one game and 50 in another.
"Jeremiah is ornery," Keith said, "and that's the way he played - ornery. He was an offensive machine. He could create his own shot, hit the deep shot or get to the rim."

Jeremiah closed his career averaging an Ohio-leading 33.2 points per game en route to
Division IV state co-player of the year honors.
