If it was 1998 then maybe Nebraska and Florida are comparable, but not recently.

Come to think of it - this list could probably reshuffle the top 4-6 teams in each league at the end of each season for a new pairing.

The last decade has been Nebraska's worst in 50 years, while UF has had their best decade ever. If we're simply talking about the last decade then no, UF and NU aren't comparable. But if we're talking about programs as a whole, then they are comparable, with Nebraska having a significant edge.

Shockingly, I see tOSU and UF as similar, with both AAU colleges and both top Director's Cup programs with recent football and basketball success.

Talking the last 25 years. I could give a [Mark May] how many titles were earned back when sloths roamed the earth for the purposes of the comparison.

You and UF are the two highest ranked director's cup programs, respectively, for each conference . We both have huge numbers of alumni. We both had a lot of success in football and basketball recently.

If you like Auburn better, then go for it. I see us as a better fit with tOSU than the others for the reasons I mentioned. If you want more SEC Championships, then Bama or Tennessee or LSU is for you. The overall academic strength, alumni size, noted football stadiums, and overall strength of our athletic departments push me to tOSU as our closet fit. Take away academics? - then others would be better.

So what is your pick?
