Saturdays Star Performer

I can see Maurice Wells getting into the endzone a time or two this saturday.

scUm is gonna be tough to run against. I can see using Mo Wells as a helluva threat catching screens out of the back field.
I said the same thing in MoWells' thread. If scUM decides to blitz frequently, a couple of swing passes to Maurice could bring some nice chunks of yardage. He's a lot of fun to watch in the open field.

Wouldn't be suprised if we see a big game from Robo or Hartline with all the attention being focused on Teddy and Gonzo. It really is nice to have so many weapons.

Beanie Wells. He won't have a LOT of yards but they will be crucial yards, which when added to Pittman's, Troy's and Teddy's rushing yards will give us about 150 rushing for the day. The two Buckeyes most likely to have rushing TDs tomorrow are Beanie and Troy.

The other surprise star performer will be whoever intercepts a pass or causes a fumble. THOSE are always huge, turning-point plays.

Go Bucks!

Put me in the Beanie column. I think he's gotten the jinx off his back and he's ready to punish some scUM defenders. Cooper used to say, "if a dog's gonna bite, he'll bite you as a pup" (that's the last time I'll mention that name this week, i promise)

anyway, if the scUM DL proves to be as formidable as anticipated, having a big dude running the ball right at them will be a huge asset. if we can't run the ball (just enough to keep them honest) Troy will have his work cut out for him.

How much will Tress use Beanie against scUM?
Would you trust him to carry the ball 15 times against them right now?

Troy is the toughest man on the team. In all of his years starting at Ohio State, have you ever, ever, seen him get hit and taken out of a play? He is a warrior on the field, with fire in his heart and ice water in his veins. If those aren't the qualities you want in a Heisman winner, then I don't know what are.
