Saturdays Star Performer

I know this thread started as a predictor of the rising stars and their play - but in truth, there was really one consistent star on the field yesterday. He was surrounded by a stellar cast, but his play was what consistently raised the Buckeye O to a different level, meeting each and every challenge. It was his play that virtually locks up the Heisman voting. His guts that took the best shots a highly touted defense could muster, and his name is Troy.

Of the young 'uns though I'll also go with Wells. His TD run was something mythical to watch. And, without that big score does the later play action toss to Ginn draw in everyone on the Michigan D? - I think it is open to debate.

i've got to go with the offensive line. sure, they have received accolades for being very good. how many times, though, did we hear about scum's front seven? this was supposed to be the best front seven that they've ever had. certainly, their defensive line was supposed to be gods among men. the success that our offensive line had in defending troy and opening holes cannot be exaggerated.

I think it was the whole team. The offensive line played great ESPECIALLY after they put Alex out there. They didn't have him out there for the first few plays and Tim Schaffer was not covering his man as well as he should. The left part of the line was solid after Alex came in. That being said, the offensive line did great, defensive line played well, secondary good, linebackers good, special team teams was good, wr's were great, rb's great and of course, Troy is always great. This honor really goes to the whole team. Its a team effort and we showed why
