San Francisco 49ers (official thread)

They need Anthony Davis back at RT badly. Jonathan Martin fucking sucks. And Boone has been pretty damn bad this year too. After years of outstanding line play, they aren't getting it this year.

Agree across the board. It's definitely taking longer than I thought it would for Boone to play himself into game shape.

Not the prettiest win today but a win's a win. Should be able to beat the Lambs next week you'd think. 4-2 is a nice start with all the injuries and BS that's been swirling around this ballclub this year

The Niners are the only "L" for two 5-1 teams right now. Looking at the schedule they've played, I feel a lot better about a 3-2 record than I thought I would, because Arizona looks like they might be for real, too. Really need the "W" tonight, because playing in Denver next week is gonna be rough.

If Arizona is a " for real" team, what does that make the Donkey's?!

Either way. I expect a grind it out game tonight. Rams front seven will get up for prime time, emotion runs high in the first half. Niners dominant second half. 28-17 final with Brian quick of the Rams getting some good fantasy points for me.

I haven't seen every game but am I correct in seeing that every time Hyde gets the ball, the 49ers OL forgets to block?
The OL hasn't been nearly as skrong this season as the past few years. They really miss Anthony Davis at RT as Jonathan Martin is terrible. Boone has been struggling since coming off his contract holdout. And I think they miss Goodwin at Center more than they expected. Thankfully, Kap stepped up and helped win the game with his arm last night, including a couple of pretty spectacular throws that went for scores.

This team is really banged up heading into Denver, which sucks. But, the defense has been more than holding their own despite all the missing pieces due to injury/suspensions etc...Vic Fangio deserves a ton of credit and should be a HC somewhere soon. If they don't make another deep postseason run, I'd expect next season.
