Gonna have a hard time competing against Urban and the other bigger programs of the B1G when they're bringing in talent from across the country. I didn't see what division they're projected to go to, but if they ended up in Legends they could be consistently stuck around 6-6, maybe 7-5.

FWIW the original poster of that is known on the Rutgers board as their equivalent of thaKid101 turned up to 11.

Just sayin': If a MAC school (winner of NIU vs Kent State) qualifies Rutgers could end up in another BCS bowl. I believe that the Orange bowl will get last pick (i.e. which could be the MAC team).

A) IF it's FSU and the good FSU shows up that day... it could be a longgggg day
B) Rutgers does very well recruiting in the state of Florida.. and getting their ass beat by FSU would not help
C) They'd fare well vs GT

Oh yeah, I got that part :) I think theres some truth to the fact that Rutgers has improved as a team, especially on defense. I think they'll be a great addition to the Big 10. The guy was making a pretty good argument for Rutgers till he got to that last paragraph, then he started drinking the Kool-Aid pretty hard ala Irish fans.

The story has already shifted out of the sports world (on regular news now).

I guess the options are:

1) Fire him and Pay Mike Rice.
2) Fire him with cause and fight it in court.

Either way, I don't think Mike Rice keeps his job, since recruiting will be killed (even more than it already is...since they're Rutgers). I don't think people want to send their sons to get basketballs thrown at them and finish .500 (winning titles and abuse is different, I guess).
