Piscataway is in the northern half in what is the NY sports market; a stones throw from Staten Island. It's well away from Atlantic City and Wildwood, which are in the SE corner and probably the best known travel/resort destinations.

Jersey Shore I believe is filmed in Seaside Heights, which is in the middle of the state in Ocean County.

Distance in Jersey is immaterial... time of day is key
You can get from Phila to Manhattan in hour & half... at 3AM... but at 7AM-6pm, that maddening jaunt will be easy 4+ hours... IF you can get thru a bridge into Manhattan.. could take you an hour just to get thru the tunnel... not sure anyone does this, unless they leave before 5am or after 9pm... we do trains...

Piscataway/New Brunswick is in the eastern center of the state... on all the major highways and train routes... best accessible area in state... stadium is nice but would not surprise me if they moved games to Meadowlands...

BTW Seaside Heights does not exist... thanks to Sandy.. so MAYBE that stupid ass show will be cancelled...

Daughter .. oh great, whoopee... can't wait to get our ass beat by OSU and listen to xxxx (oldest son who is OSU grad) rag on me for weeks... we finally get good and what do they do... WTF

I think everything in New Jersey--within a standard deviation--is fairly close to Chris Christie at any moment.
