Reds Tidbits (2008 season)

Guess those of you counting the Reds out of the post season already might want to hold your horses. Yes, they are behind and only starting to streak, but only 6 games back and looking like a completely different ballclub right now. We may actually make this thing interesting by the end, and we still have Bailey to bring up and push Belisle out of the rotation. Sweet, sweet sweet.

I gotta believe that Maloney is ahead of Bailey right now...Maybe I am crazy in thinking that, but either Bailey is upset that he is still in AAA or he is just really struggling...

you are not crazy for thinking that, Homer is getting rocked in AAA

Thompson and Maloney are the two names I always hear in regards to possible help this year. We get one more above average MLB pitcher in the rotation this year and we are in business.

of course he's the one that let the ball roll to the damn back stop in the first place but it was a nice throw :wink2:

Cant block em all, right? At least he got up and made the play. He could've easily let the guy reach, and about 2 weeks ago I'd have bet the guy makes it to first safely. :)

Bruce finally make an out. He stung that ball - and so didn't Griffey right after him.

yeah this relief pitcher gets an excuse me swing RBI when he's up then two hot smashes right at someone when he's pitching. He's a goofy looking sonofabitch too. :mad1:
