Reds Tidbits (2008 season)

They're saying on FSN that A. Phillips can play throughout the infield and outfield. I thought he was pretty much a 1B, and some guys on RZ were saying maybe 3B, but preferably not.

Does anybody know if he can play other positions besides 1B? It'd be nice if he could fill-in in LF/RF.

Okay, now whats the record for consecutive times on base starting a major league career?

Ted Cox for the Red Sox has the most consecutive hits to start a career with 6, but I couldnt find consecutive at bats on base to start a career.

Other than Griffey and EE, this team is streakin' right now...

Hopefully that Double from EE gets him going...

BTW I would take Griffey out of the 3 hole with how bad he is swinging the bat right now...

Hairston is trying to take ahold of the leadoff spot...Played nice last night and looked good in his first at bat...

4 runs in an inning without a homerun!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know that was possible out of this team...
