Yeah, why was Arroyo throwing a fastball in that situation? Drop the hammer on him and strike him out! If you throw something straight and not all that fast to a guy that never hits, you're kinda asking for a little bad luck.

hey, does anyone need this turned into a game thread or is everyone tuned in to the game when they get on here?

I ask because I like the game thread idea but hate the ones at RZ.

I'm always tuned in when I'm on here, but I wouldn't mind this being a game thread. I don't always get to catch the games live, and even when I am tuned in I like to participate with a little play-by-play. It's how I like to watch the game - kinda like people who keep score along with the game. It would be nice to have that here. I like reading RedsZone, but don't really feel like trying to impress the right people to gain entry to the good boards.

I'm a Pirates fan who lives in the summer in Cincinnati. I'm going to buy tickets to go see Jay Bruce. I don't care who the Reds are playing. He is just that good. I really think he is a big part of the future for the Reds, and I think he is a part of the future of this league. He's gotten on base 7 out of 8 times in less than two games. He's gotten two doubles. He's stolen 2 bases. He has 3 runs and 2 RBIs. And, he even has 0 strikeouts. This guy is amazing.
