Reds Tidbits (2007 Season)

Freel dives and misses a shallow ball in CF then throws the ball away at 3b. Murton (who hit a squibber to get on base) scores on the throwing error and Lee is at third.

Could have been 2 outs with runners on the corners. Not a smart play by Freel.

Edit: Harang gets out of the inning with no further damage. He has looked very sharp today. A lot of the hits have been trash hits.

Great opening day...

Dunner had a great day...Harang gave us 7 solid innings and the bullpen closed the day with two uneventful innings...

I really like this pitch and play defense motto that we have this year, as long as we can manufacture runs like we did today...
