RB Jordan Hall (Official Thread)

Maybe to the fans ...

Hall and Zach Boren - both so important to this team, yet neither was greeted very enthusiastically by the recruiting crowd. The recruiting crowd can be so, so wrong sometimes.

I'll take a three star with their degree of worth ethic over a five star who slides by on talent any day.

Since day one he has performed on the field better than many thought.
Just a terrific ball player. And he'll just keep getting better! We really needed him to give this offense a spark and that's exactly what he's done.
To think he was kind of an after thought in recruiting.

And special teams. I have not been this excited about our kick returns since another #7 was returning kickoffs and punts. Although Hall is not as fast as Ginn, he seems to know where to run to break one for a big gain.

This was the one recruit that I hoped we would land out of them all!

WoW!

HB

I am still surprised when I posted this in April 2008 and have kept trying to hype Hall and fans still wanted Berry. Nothing against Berry just thought Hall was more of a overall player. Blocking, catching, returning and running.

Well glad to have ya on the Hall bandwagon. If you watch his HS video you may have noticed he is a nasty SOB and has exceptional vision. Just a pure baller. 3 star ha ha! Your ass! Cash is my sleeper pick out of the 2011. But Bennet an Shazier are my favorites.

Go Bucks!

Amen to that!
I'd like to see a healthy 1-2 punch of Boom and Hall when Boom gets back. I still love our depth, but those are the best 2 RBs so far on the roster. I still feel confident with the other 3 RBs coming off the bench too, there's a lot of football to be played this season Buckeye fans. That Miami lose may have awakened a sleeping giant with this team. If Fickell can just rely on the run game and our very good defense, we can still win another Big 10 title

I'll take a five-star who works his ass off over either one, but that's just me.

Zach and Jordan are not in any way 3-star talent level; they are both much better. What the "experts" saw in them from a talent perspective just shows how inexact a science this whole recruitnik business is.

Hall is making plays everywhere on the field. I especially liked him in the wildcat on Saturday. Let's not forget he has a throwing TD under his belt already in his career I believe ... other teams better respect it. Also think once Boom returns splitting Hall out as a WR will be more common place. Until then his shiftiness in the whole as a runner is something the other young guys just don't have right now. Additionally, his impact on punt returns and kickoff returns will continue to be crucial to our young offense in setting up shorter fields. Overall this kid is superman right now for this team ... he can simply do it all.

Keep doin' work JHall

I never thought Hall was a courtesy offer, as I thought he stood out even with Pryor on the field. But then again, I didn't peg him as the star he is becoming. I think Hall has greatly improved his game in all aspects since arriving to Columbus. The staff has done a great job of shepherding his growth and Jordan has worked his tail off.
