RB Eddie George - (1995 Heisman winner, CFB HOF, 4x Pro Bowl, HC Tenn St)

Actually he had 2 TD runs in that super bowl......and does anyone remember that long TD run in the playoffs vs. the colts, he was getting nothing all day, and then all of a suddon, boom, 68 yards..TD, i think that gave them the lead.

I think he will eventually get in. Eddie would have had better numbers if not for:

1. The Titans letting Loronzo Neal get away. He opened up a lot of holes for Eddie and it is no accident that LD in San Diego is having a great couple of years with him blocking for him. Not that LD wouldn't be a good back without him.

2. A terrible injury to his toe. I was a flight and was seated next to an assistant coach for the Titans and he told me that the injury to Eddie was just devastating. He basically went on to say that Eddie is "going to have to relearn how to walk." If that is not a definition of a career (hopefully not) ending injury I don't know what one is.........

Eddie George isn\'t getting in. I doubt that 10000 yards will continue to guarentee enshrinement. Ricky Watters is over 10000 and he wont even be considered. I love Eddie but he doesnt have a chance and he shouldnt. Saying he is one of the best of all time is not true.
