RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

According to Gary H, Chris did not go to the game out of respect for the tOSU staff. He did call Gary to say he and his entire family were celebrating the win.

The kid understands.

That's a nice move. I can't say I'd do the same in his place. Every time I check this thread, I'm more and more struck by just how great a guy Chris is, and how lucky we are to have him coming down to Columbus next year.

I know it's been said before, but welcome home, Chris. One year at tOSU, and you'll never want to leave--at least I know I would love to go back :)

As Grad already posted......Wells did not attend the game. He called Coach Bollman after the game to congratulate him. Calls Antonio Pittman a great back.

Nothing major here as Chris reaffirms his enjoyment of the USC visit but again says there is no place like home and tOSU is where he belongs. He averaged 9.6 yds/carry while gaining 2,134 yards and scoring 28 touchdowns. He will officially visit tOSU in December.

I can't think of the last time I was this excited about a running back coming in (other than you know who.)

Maybe some of you who were able to see MoC play in high school can answer this. Who was farther along as a high school back? MoC was able to pick up blitz's and the play book pretty quick. Should we expect the same from Beanie?
