RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

That was before he was only able to suit up for slightly over a half of the NC game when he said he was healthier than he has been in a while.

You talking about the Fiesta Bowl last night?

A concussion is something a little different. Can't do much about that. If he had re-injured his foot or something, I'd agree. The fact that he's injury prone is just more of a reason to leave IMO.

He's likely going to get $10 guaranteed (at least). That's nothing to sneeze at, and probably not worth risking IMO. He can earn more money if he gets healthy and has a couple solid years in the next level. If he can stay healthy, I have no doubt in my mind that he can earn himself quite a nice living. The guy was NFL-ready last year. He's going to have an immediate impact for someone.

Anybody know how Wells was injured last night? By the way he was sitting down it looked as if he had a head injury or something and was a bit out of it. Concussion?

Yep, concussion. You know the guy is so frustrated. Now he has a big decision to make and I think that he has some great people surrounding him to help him with his choice. He needs to do what is best for Chris Wells and it appears that going pro is that. JT has been pretty open about his recommendation. That says a hell of a lot about a coach when he knows what kind of player and person Beanie is and what kind of loss it is if he goes pro, but still has the integrity to advise him to go pro. This is why JT is special, this is why if I was a recruit tOSU would be the place for me.

Love Beanie but I hope he goes pro for two main reasons;

1) He'll make a lot of money!

2) It cleary makes this Pryor's team

Can't blame BEANIE if he goes pro.

However, the 09 team could not only use his talent, but his Senior leadership as well, beings we are losing 28 Seniors this year. Just a thought.

Yep - it is going to be very interesting ... I'm sure he didn't hit the high note that he wanted to leave on last night.

He doesn't say lots of stuff, so you have to go with what he gives you. He has said that he wants to be in the "books" right there with Archie & Eddie. One more seaon will do that.

"I don't want to say I'm leaning toward staying or I'm leaning toward going. All I'm saying is I do want to be the best Buckeye to ever come through here."

I believe that story is from a week ago.

The sooner we all accept Beanie is gone the quicker we can get back to healthy sleep patterns.

I'm not losing sleep over it but after reading that article I'd say we will see him back at tOSU next year. He hasn't fulfilled his mission "to be the Best Buckeye" ever at tOSU. The lure of money is strong but the passion for his school and the game is stronger.

Either way, I'm sure we wish Beanie the best in whatever decision he makes. I hope he comes back for the same reasons that JL, MJ, and others returned last year. If he goes, I hope the Lions don't take him!
