RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

I loved that. But no, he's going to have to literally jump over another person. Moreno has already done it. If McGuffy does a forward flip over a Wisky DB this week...Beanie may not even get invited to NY. It's all about the hops this year.

Should he book his ticket now?

Damn it, you a-holes beat me to it! I was busy searching through his hundreds of late night drunk posts to find it.

Fortunately you found it amongst the early afternoon drunk posts

If Beanie can get back to full health this year with TP at the helm, woe is upon our opponents :wink2:

Beanie is just a man among boys. He can turn a crack into a hole in the line...not to knock our other RBs, but we are so much better with Beanie in there. He's just an amazing talent even when he's not 100%...I'll take Beanie any way we can get him. Welcome back Beanie...get healthy...and stay that way! :)

 I didn't think he'd actually do it! Now, if next week, he takes a hand-off at the twenty and literally walks into the endzone, it's his to lose.

I knew Beanie read this thread. There's your proof. :p

The man is insane.

Heard him in the post game crediting the jump due to the lack of movement with his clunky shoes. He moved pretty well to me with those clunky shoes.

Yeah, he said that's why he had to jump the guy. He couldn't cut in those big shoes.

Edit: Pete and Re-Peat are in a boat, Pete falls out..who's left?

Unfortunately, unless he has 3 breakout games (or 250+ yards) he has 0% chance

I think they may have to give it to him if everyone else stumbles. The most important thing right now, imo, is for him to stay healthy, for PSU to reamain undefeated 'til we play them, and a couple dazzling games. Even something like 200 yards on twelve carries and three td's against wisky and he's back to serious consideration. Ride out the season with all 100yd+ games, and he's legit. They want to give it to the player they all picked in the preseason. I don't feel he's out of it yet...

Also, if by some miracle TSUN doesn't lose another B10 game (unless they play PSU before we do), a huge game against them will leave a good picture of Beanie fresh in their minds before the early December voting and announcment.

Just my .02c. I know people think it's over, but I have a hard time believing that.
